| Albania and China Eye Higher Level of Exchanges |

TIRANA – The relations between Albania and China are following the traditional positive trend of development, foreign minister Luizim Basha and Beijing’s top diplomat to Tirana Wang Junling have said as quoted by a statement.
The exchanges between the two countries have been growing, Basha said at the meeting on Tuesday with the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Albania, Wang Junling.
Basha said there was a very favorable climate for the investments of foreign businesses in Albania. He expressed the wish of the Albanian government for a greater presence of the Chinese business in many fields of mutual interest like power, seaports, etc.
For his part Wang said the Chinese side wanted to intensify the cooperation based on mutual and common interests. He expressed the will to make the utmost to take to higher levels the bilateral relations during his tenure.
Wang was quoted as describing the relations between the two governments and people as very good, friendly and traditional.
