TIRANA, Feb.25 －Albania would unswervingly adhere to a One China p0olicy and push the friendly cooperation between Albania and China to a new level, Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha said Wednesday.
“Albania attachés great importance to developing bilateral relations with China, and our two countries have been enjoying a traditional friendly relationship during the past 60 years,” Berisha said in his meeting wit Chinese assistant Minister o Foreign affairs Wu Hongbo.
Beish highly praised China’s role on the world stage. He aid China is one of the key factors in international affair and is paying a crucial roe in preserving peace stability.
The year 2009 will see the 60th anniversary of the establishment o diplomatic relations between China and Albania. Berisha sad the two countries an use celebrations of the event as an opportunity to boost cooperation in all fields.
Wu aid that China cherishes its traditional friendship with Albania, and always regards Albania as good friend and a good partner in south-eastern Europe.
“China,” Wu said, “would like to strengthen its friendly cooperation with Albania and to push the relationship between the two countries to a new level through joint efforts.
